Your faithful Pouch here. Today marks the second Halloween since we started DLP and though it's not particularly special to me, it is to everybody else at DLP. All two of them. However, for me, it's a good excuse to do something special for the occasion. Last year, Droptober was Milky's brainchild. This year, most of us were busy with our lives, so we couldn't quite accomplish the insurmountable task of replicating Droptober in its entirety, so we opted for a two-part Halloween special. This time, it was conceived almost entirely by Maria, aka Paco, utilizing a bunch of inside jokes that only our viewers would know... Is it really plural? Let's be safe and say that it utilizes a bunch of inside jokes that our only viewer would know. Hey, guy. Thanks for sticking by us.
Pouch here. It's been a rough weekend for me, but that obviously shouldn't affect your weekend. I wouldn't dare deprive you guys of DLP, especially the weekend before Halloween. We may not be going the same route of Droptober from last year, but we've got something special for you. It's a bit late due to technical difficulties, but now it's up for your enjoyment.
Without further ado, it's the annual DVD Load-Down Halloween Special! This week, it's Rob Zombie's The Devil's Rejects.
Hey, guys. Halloween has come and gone, but DROPTOBER isn't quite finished yet! For those of you who couldn't be bothered to watch our DVD Load-Downs for the month of DROPTOBER, we've made it that much more easier for you to watch our epic four-part horror-comedy sketch entitled "Intruder!" by compiling it into one neat little 7:30 video (it has outtakes, don't worry). Now go and watch it, you lazy fucks!
Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end... which means DROPTOBER must as well. This month has been difficult as we were constantly shooting something to ensure we hit each week's deadline, but it was a still hell of a lot of fun, though Milky would probably disagree as he was editing practically everyday. Regardless, this month is ending on a high note with the epic conclusion to our 4-part sketch. Last week, Pouch and Milky geared up for the final showdown with the masked man. See what happens.
This week, we're reviewing the fantastic flick by Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard, THE CABIN IN THE WOODS!
Getting down to the wire. Second to last week of DROPTOBER and getting closer and closer to the conclusion of our 4-part epic sketch. Last week, Milky found Pouch on the floor in a puddle of blood. Will this really be the end of DVD Load-Down?
This week on DVD Load-Down, we're doing another Wes Craven movie entitled THE PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS.
DROPTOBER continues with another installment of DVD Load-Down. This week, we're doing an 80's movie entitled 976-EVIL, directed by Robert Englund, the man who played Freddy Krueger. And with that, the sketch continues where it left off previously. While Milky waits for Pouch to finish putting on his makeup in preparation for a Halloween party, he pours himself something to drink. However, it seems there is someone else in the house that Milky wasn't aware of. Watch and see what happens next.
Pouch here. It's October and that means that everybody is ready to get scared and we're here to help you celebrate. Milky is a big fan of all things horror and really loves the festivities of a holiday that is so closely associated with the spooky stuff. Therefore, he set out to make this month special and to do that we're making this month DROPTOBER! Get it? And with that, you're getting FOUR DVD Load-Downs for each week of Droptober with us reviewing a horror movie from different eras starting from the 70's. Attached to each DVD Load-Down, you're getting a very special four-part sketch that will be sure to put you at the edge of your seat... if you haven't already fallen from ecstasy from having read this news.
In this episode of DVD Load-Down, we're getting into Wes Craven's film debut and cult exploitation flick THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT! Please check us out on Facebook, Twitter, Email, and leave a review on iTunes. Subscribe to us on YouTube.
