Dropping Loads Episode 35: Illegal Chicken Tunnels

Pouch here. So while we're slowly slowly coming off the high of our most ambitious release yet, HipsterWay, it's time to get back into the groove of things with another episode of your favorite podcast. This episode was a bit difficult to edit mostly because we had to scramble and find a different microphone to use and it really fucked with the audio. While we were doing our customary mic check at the beginning of the recording session, we discovered that one microphone wasn't responding at all, so we had to ask Jon to dash back home and grab his headphone set that unfortunately captured his breathing and chewing as well as my audio (as I was sitting next to him) muffling my track altogether. So please forgive us if it sounds more like shit than usual.

Make sure you check out HipsterWay:

Dropping Loads Productions: HipsterWay

Pouch here. Today, I've got yet another infomercial for you guys, but trust me, this was not by design. Originally written 7 years ago by a wee little Milky, I updated it to better reflect modern times. You’ll be glad I did, but the last one wasn't the most politically correct sketch. We don’t really want to push any envelope here, we just want to entertain people and have fun in the process. Based on all the Teasing Loads pictures we've been putting up, I hope it reflects how much fun we were having.

Here, take a look:

And after watching that last blooper at the end, you can see that Milky and I had far too much enjoyment from playing our respective characters.

Anyway, take a look at HipsterWay:

Dropping Loads Episode 34: Driving While Asian

Pouch here. Sorry about the no-show last week, we had to take a personal day and decided to postpone this crazy ambitious shoot we have coming up. We shot a few scenes for it the other day and had a blast. I ended up enjoying my character far too much. Hopefully, we'll get that to you soon enough.

In the meantime, enjoy some Teasing Loads from that shoot:

Now on to what you guys came here for: the podcast. I have an old friend that I've known since freshman year of high school and we've kept in relatively close contact for a while. He's been imploring me for a chance to hang out on the set during one of our shoots, but considering how often our actors get a little spooked by strangers, I always opted not to invite him. But I decided to give him a shot on the pod, if he was the sole guest, to avoid people clamming up. He's a pretty cool guy, but unfortunately Milky and I dominate the conversation, so hopefully, if he's back on, he'll have more to say.

In this episode, Pouch's old friend Paul weighs in on stereotypes and the Florida man. Milky reveals his almost encyclopedic knowledge of Asians, while Pouch discusses Michael Bay's latest venture, Pain and Gain.
