Dropping Loads Episode 56: Swishy featuring John Dayton of The Weekly Train Wreck

Subscribe to us on iTunes HERE.

After the unfortunate collapse of the 76th Street Network, I figured that we should try to maintain strong ties to the podcasting community that we love. Yeah, yeah. I know we shouldn't have taken them for granted and actually had them on when the network was going strong. We always talked about it, but we never actually pursued until after the fall and I regret that. But regardless, now we have another prominent figure of the 76th Street Network, John Dayton of John Dayton's Smartass Podcast and The Weekly Train Wreck. We talk podcasting and 76th Street Network drama. Check him out at The Weekly Train Wreck, where they speak with awesome musicians and discuss weird news. Intro/Outro: Ben Folds - Ass Crack Bandit.

In this episode, the boys bring in John Dayton of The Weekly Train Wreck, where he falls for a thrift store thief. Milky wishes for a world free of the intergluteal cleft, while Pouch defends its honor. The guys pitch a new fashion podcast about jeans and shoes.

Dropping Loads Episode 50: Satan Claws - 50th Episode Spectacular

Subscribe to us on iTunes HERE.

Pouch here. Who woulda thought this dopey little podcast would ever make it to episode 50? You'd think that after 5 episodes, we'd be at each other's throats, but nope, we hung in there. Now we're celebrating a landmark episode. 50 episodes, brah! It feels good. This episode requires some explanation. We obviously wanted to do something different to commemorate this special, so we decided to do a round robin episode, featuring three different semi-permanents (i.e. regulars), dedicating about 10-15 minutes a piece to them and switching off. It'd all be book ended by Milky and me. Though we had some audio issues, it came out pretty good and I'm happy to release it.

In this episode, DLP celebrates the 50th episode by pulling a round robin episode, featuring three different semi-permanents switching off after each of their own special segments. Jon is fascinated by WWE's brilliant marketing scheme to incorporate brawling Santas, Maria tells a tale of a food-worshipping family, while Random Guy Serge sits in on the DLP Parenting Corner.

Dropping Loads Episode 48: Eww featuring Jeremiah of Bombad Radio

Subscribe to us on iTunes HERE. Your ardent Pouch here. While the dust is still settling on the new studio, we're going to be podcast exclusive for the time being. Does it matter? We've got an extra special guest in the house today. His name is Jeremiah from Bombad Radio, another fine podcast from the 76th Street Network. As a veteran podcaster of a very popular podcast, he knows what he's talking about and knows the ins and outs of garnering a massive audience and grabbing some of the biggest names in the geek world. Check out Bombad Radio, folks. If you're a geek, you will not be disappointed. Intro/outro: Michael Jackson - Will You Be There?

In this episode, Jeremiah of Bombad Radio joins the DLP boys to school them in all things podcasting and show his distaste of many things. Pouch is determined to make their special guest laugh, while Milky mandates the use of toenail clippers.

Dropping Loads Episode 32: Denture Twins

Subscribe to us on iTunes HERE

Pouch here. If you guys don't already know - and how could you miss it? We've been celebrating it for the past month - we were picked up by the 76th Street Network a few weeks ago. With a spike in feed hits overall, we're more enthusiastic than ever for our podcast because now we know that people actually listen. We still don't get too much reception in the form of comments or e-mails, but the statistics don't lie. Those sweet, sweet numbers have been going up and it's such a wonderful feeling to know that people are listening to us! And all of this really is thanks to the 76th Street Network. So we decided to have one of the founders of the network, Tony, come and guest on our humble pod. It was a great fucking time, as you can hear from all the laughter. Join in the fun and listen in. Oh yeah, please excuse the technical difficulties. This was our first time ever recording via Skype and it seems like our Internet connection was being uncooperative, so Tony will break up from time to time. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Please go Like the 76th Street Network Facebook page. Please check us out on FacebookTwitterEmail, and leave a review on iTunes. Subscribe to us on YouTube. Intro/Outro: Beautiful Nebraska - Julie Baker-Anderson

In this episode, the boys welcome Tony to discuss the birth and rise of the 76th Street Pod and the 76th Street Network. The boys are awestruck as Tony extols the great state of Nebraska. The guys then brainstorm the world's most racist theme park.

Check out this week's Teasing Loads, in which Milky explain his preference of a urinal video game.

Dropping Loads Episode 30: Bushwookiee

Episode 30: Bushwookiee

Pouch here. This episode was a long time coming. Milky and I sat down with Jon, without a fourth member, and as expected, it was a laughfest. Then again, even with four people, he brings the house down. You see, Milky and I have been experimenting with the less is more approach, opting to record with only one other person at time. So far, the outcome has been pretty grand, if you look back to some of the episodes with only the three people. Now, we haven't closed off the option of having 4-5 members again, if we can get them, because it's always fun to have a bunch of people crowded together in a room talking shit. But it just requires more effort attempting to schedule more than one person at a time.

Check out the 76th Street Network for our pod and several other great pods as well.

Please check us out on FacebookTwitterEmail, and leave a review on iTunes. Subscribe to us on YouTube. Intro/Outro for episode 30: Ass Cheeks on My White Tee - Venny Outrageous.

In this episode, Jon brings the laughs as he weighs in on the Vatican and the Pope for another edition of "Get a Load of This," while bringing some weird news of his own. The boys talk current slang and discuss the the Veronica Mars Kickstarter and the implications it has on our favorite canceled shows.

Check out this week's Teasing Loads, in which Jon tracks the origins of the words "skank" and "hoe."

And last week's DVD Load-Down, where Milky and I review the bizarre Meet the Feebles.

Dropping Loads Episode 29: Pimp Pope

Subscribe to us on iTunes HERE

Pouch here. How's it going? Sorry for the late upload, but I had some of my own technical difficulties this time around and at the same time, the DLP went on vacation in Orlando for the big Megacon. It was good fun, but of course we gotta get back to work, right? And the big news is that we joined a network, yo! It's the big leagues now. Check out the 76th Street Network for our pod and several other great pods as well.

Please check us out on FacebookTwitterEmail, and leave a review on iTunes. Subscribe to us on YouTube. Intro/Outro theme: Sickest Buddhist - Arj Barker.

In this episode, the DLP crew celebrate Batman as well as their inclusion into the 76th Street Network. Milky and Maria swap tales of roach encounters, while Pouch lectures on about the Pope and the Buddha.
